廖宏

  廖宏,教授,博士生导师。19659月生, 籍贯四川。1986年本科毕业于北京大学地球物理系气象专业,被推荐继续在北京大学读研究生,1989年获大气动力学专业硕士学位。20018月在美国加州理工学院(California Institute of Technology) 获得环境工程专业博士学位。此后继续在加州理工学院从事博士后工作, 200210月起担任加州理工学院Assistant Scientist2003年起为美国橡树岭国家实验室访问科学家。200512月起作为中国科学院“百人计划”入选者受聘于大气物理所。从事大气化学、气溶胶、空气污染和气候变化等交叉领域的模式研究。中国科学院战略性先导科技专项项目"我国气溶胶历史变化及气候效应"和科技部973项目"大气污染物的理化特征及其与气候系统相互作用"首席科学家。20163月,任南京信息工程大学环境科学与工程学院院长。
